Who we are
Welcome to our little flower farm.
The flower patch is nestled between Mt rumney and Single hill about 20 minutes from Hobart and run by (myself) Rubie and my husband Max with the help of our beautiful support team and friends.
After an accident that left me with a spinal cord injury we settled down just outside Hobart and discovered we love gardening and finding ways for me to be more hands on outside.
We’ve jumped straight into learning about permaculture and regenerative growing and after a busy first few years planting trees and growing a veggie and flower patch we’re starting our first season growing flowers with the goal of producing seasonal and sustainable blooms for our local florists and community.
Starting from the ground up we’re excited about healthy soil, reducing waste and supporting our local ecosystems and community. With the help of our bee hive, three ducks and a little flock of chicken we’re excited to share our flowers with you.
