Micro Flower Farm growing flowers for our local community with permaculture and regenerative principles
Small scale slow growing
Growing seasonal flowers in Southern Tasmania- 20 minutes from Hobart we’re diving into growing our first season of flowers for our local community, florists and flower lovers.
-
How we grow
From the ground up we’re focusing on building great soil with regenerative and permaculture principles.
Starting with no dig flower beds, compost and worms!
-
Services
Our goal is to provide seasonal and sustainable blooms locally.
This first year will be a lot of experimenting and learning while we provide buckets of flowers and bouquets.
-
This seasons flowers
We have been busy planting and are hoping to be able to provide a beautiful mix of annuals while we wait for our perennials to grow.
In the field we are growing Dahlias, Sunflowers, Cosmos, Zinnias, Feverfew, queen annes lace aswell as others in the garden, herbs for bees and insects and some living corridors and paths.
